Earth construction workshop was conducted in a village of Rajbas, Kavre, Nepal in the November 2010 in order to get some hands-on experience necessary for a future school constructions. During a month lasting workshop we introduces ourselves to mud technologies such as adobe, rammed earth and cob walling, were getting to know bamboo as construction material and understand challenges in collaboration with local workmen. As a result a small laundry unit for a rural hospital was erected and outdoor hospital areas were amended with some benches and walking surfaces.
